Program-Specific Guidance

Direct Enroll Programs: Many host institutions will provide their own pre-departure guidance for students. All study abroad participants will be expected to follow any guidance from their host institution. Most direct enroll programs will also host an on-site orientation upon students' arrival for their designated term.

Faculty-Led Programs: Faculty-led program participants can also expect to receive pre-departure guidance from their Faculty Director and/or the facilitating program provider. All faculty-led program participants will be expected to follow any guidance or processes provided for their program and attend any group program meetings.

Pre-Departure Guide

All study abroad participants are required to thoroughly review each section of the Study Abroad Pre-Departure Guide outlined below.

Participants are also required to complete the Online Pre-Departure Orientation hosted on ReggieNet. The Pre-Departure Orientation will incorporate components of the Pre-Departure Guide combined with quizzes and additional country-specific information. Once a student has been approved to participate in study abroad, an email will be sent with information on how to complete this process.
